Realize this is an adult show, but I have kids that go to Gracie South and was thinking about taking them to see about an hour of this show. Are the Psychout shows tame enough (referring to the environment outside the ring) to bring kids for the undercard? thanks.

Sorry, can anyone please post….
The kids setting up the chairs attempted to get their friends into the vip section and later tried to place additional chairs on the front row for friends that arrived late. The chairs were crowded together way to close for comfort. I selected and aisle seat so I could have some extra room. I would not hesitate to take children that are fight fans to the event. Everyone was friendly and there was no inappropriate behavior. They had video cameras and large screens so you could see action when they hit the mat. I would have liked to see more stats on the screen before fights like records and hometown. Sound was good, lights were good, but the artificial smoke machine made the room hazy. They kept the event running on time with no delays.
I’d just like to to thank Psychout and all the supporters for coming out to the show. Things didn’t turn out like I wanted them to but I appreciate the opportunity I got to fight. I wish you guys at Psychout and all the fighters all the best in the future.

PsychoutMMA “Relentless” Did not dissapoint! For The main event, Brian Albin won by TKO over Colby McMahan via first round. Albin was very impressive even after being taken down by McMahan, before reversing him and winning by TKO by Ground-n-Pound.
The Co-Main Event was also up to par, as Daniel Watts coming up in weight from 155, knocks out Jeremy Kilgore in the second round by dropping him and then scoring the knockout by ground and Pound. Kilgore was not a new comer to PsychoutMMA, he fought in the very first show in Canton Mississippi. Watts showed great sportsmanship, and Kilgore was shaken up but okay.
Fight 10 was worth the price of admission at Relentless. Paul McAdams and Chris Myers left everything in the ring before the final decision came down to the judges. Meyers controlled round one after forcing the action on the mat. In round two McAdams started to gain control. He applied several arm bars but Meyers found a way to escape each time. McAdams dominated round three leaving Meyers face covered in blood at the end of the fight. McAdams wins by unanimous decision.
It takes David Macfee just 57 seconds to get the knockout victory over Alec Miller in the ninth fight at Relentless.
Jeffrey Hedgepeth was a crowd favorite at Reletless and he gave the crowd what they wanted. Hedgepeth knocked out Gary Hollman just 15 seconds into the fight.
Matt Hudson accepted the bout with Chase Rainer two hours before the start of Relentless, but that didn’t seem to matter, because he was definitely ready for the fight. Hudson applies the choke
hold and forces Rainer to tap out in round one.
Ceciel Dixion breaks Russell Smith’s jaw in round two of ther 175 lbs bout at Relentless forcing the fight to be stopped.
Fight three featured a pair of 145 pound fighters in Jason Cefelu and Clay Windham. This bout needed all three rounds and went to the judges. This fight spent a lot of time on the mat with Cefelu landing lots of
hard punches. In the end, it was a unanimous decion with Cefelu taking the decision.
Joe Bell Drops David Kimble to the mat with a shot to the jaw, forcing the fight to be stopped in round two.
Fight One of Relentless had two accidental kicks to the groin and an illegal knee to the head while an opponenet is on the ground and this one needed three rounds to determine a winner. In the third round Chris Hicks knocked out Kelajah Shepard’s tooth forcing Shepard to throw in the towel.

Agree with mwc1, Rainer shouldn’t be there. That was only MAtt’s 2nd fight, his first was the weekend before. Not that the kid doesn’t have skills (because he does and has a bright future in the sport) but no one he beat should be top 5.

btw, John Brown has proven himself to be the best HW in MS. When he moves down to LHW, he is likely to take that spot over as well. Arcement’s transitions were great no doubt. I know the crowd loves brawlers and KOs but to get to that next level you have to have some ground game to go along with your striking.
Ditto what Kelly and matador1 said. Derek Arcement’s submission flow once that fight hit ground was pretty slick. You have to have a good knowledge of the ground game to FULLY appreciate that submission. Props on a good win for Derek. I’d like to see more of this dude.

We respect other fight companies that respects the fight fans which in return respects the fighters and your sponsors by providing the extra’s. Providing the in house production with cameras on the cage, big screens for better viewing when the fighters hit the mat, a real light show and making it easy for fights fans to purchase tickets with ticket master.
We also believe that it is important to promote fighters and give them that opportunity to become CHAMPIONS which Psychout does as we do also. All the extras ad up to an exciting fight night experience for the fans and for the fighters.
Keep promoting the sport the right way as will Atlas Fights will continue to do!

Rumor Hasit that John Hollywood Harris will defending his PsychoutMMA lightweight belt August 14 in Jackson! Plus Colby McMahon will be fighting for the Psychout Middleweight Belt! If you did not know Hollywood fought for the Lightwelt belt after Trey Brown, had to give back his belt on a proir tournament that he had already committed to. Hollywood, the current champion, has some very impressives wins, and rumors say he will have the belt for a long time. Very interested to see who he would fight.
Colby McMahon just fought for the PsychoutMMA LHW Belt, via losing to Brian Albin. But you can not forget McMahon has fought for psychout before at 185, and he walked through his opponents. A very well deserved title shot for the 185 belt. If we are lucky love to see him and jason goodin compete!!!!

It’s a done deal. I can remember being a fan of Hollywood when I started training at Gracie South. It was when he was fighting Daniel Watts in Byram that I thought I would never be good enough to hold my own with fighters of that caliber. I never thought I’d get the honor of fighting Hollywood. I’ve waited for this day for 5 years. It’s not even about the belt. The belt is just the fruit or result of good training.
I cant wait to see this. ive had the honor of fighting both these guys {Hollywood & Smash Brown} and they both have some serious game. this is one i want miss !!! psychout is always out doing themselves. oH and who will i be fighting JAY???

It’s not a rumor. That cake has been baked. The only thing that can stop this fight from happening is death. I’ll fight him even if I’m injured. I won’t miss this opportunity again. Smashing him and getting my belt back is the what’s best for my career right now.

The belt must not have meant that much to you if you let the title go vacant. Whatever the excuse was, I was ready for fight YOU on Feb 27th. It was you who backed out. The story that I got was that you didn’t have any cornermen for the fight. I don’t care if I have to pick Joe Blow out of the crowd to corner me and give me water between rounds, I ain’t giving up that belt without a fight baby. Doesn’t matter, it’s you whose going to locked in that cage with me, not your cornermen.
Here’s the deal. Me vs. Smash has been in the making since last summer. I PURPOSELY cleared my schedule and turned down fights for the simple fact that I didn’t want to have ANY excuses as to why I couldn’t meet you on Feb 27th. No offense to Cody Southwood, he was a game opponent who stepped up on less than 48 hours notice to fight me. He’s got balls, I wouldn’t want to fight me on short notice either, but he stepped up.
I can only fight who they put in front of me. I had a job to do and I did it, I don’t give a $hit who was in front of me that night, they was going to get the bizness.
That goes to Smash Brown, Juan Zapata or whoever else that wants a crack at the strap around my waist.
PS, Trey, fighting me and “trying” to get your belt back is NOT GOOD FOR YOUR CAREER….I’m just sayin.

As to why we didn’t meet on Feb 27th, other than you being seriously injured, there is no excuse. You had a commitment to defend your title. You chose not to, therefore now I have it. I’m sorry, it is what it is. All you did was postpone that inevitable.

Here is how I look at it. At one time, Trey Brown was the undisputed Psychout LW Champ. At that time, it was I who was the challenger. I fought my way through the rankings to earn the right to have the priviledge to fight him. I earned the number one contender spot last summer, afterwhich me and Trey faced off in the cage. You may or may not have been in addendance. This happened LAST SUMMER mind you.
In the process, I turned down a fight from ANOTHER promotion trying to scoop the LW title fight from PSYCHOUT. I love fighting for PSYCHOUT and I’m fiercly loyal to Jay and Brian and the PSYCHOUT Fans. I declined of course. I don’t know what happened on the other side. I have no idea what he or his management team did. I don’t mind saying, the offer was VERY VERY nice. Did I mention…VERY NICE? If I just wanted to fight Trey and make money, that would have been the way to do it. I didn’t want to just fight Trey, I wanted to get the belt. The belt is the validation of the champion to me. If I don’t have the belt, I’m not the champ. That’s how I view it.
Both me and Trey have known about our fight for many many months before Feb 27th. I honestly had a 4 month training camp for that fight. I wasn’t going to miss my opportunity. A month or a month and a half out from the fight, I get a call that Trey has backed out of the fight. I figure that he’s banged up somehow. I couldn’t get a clear answer.
It turned out that he was not injured as I suspected. For whatever reason, he made the DECISION that he would not take the fight on the agreed upon date.
Now think about that. What if Brock Lesnar, Anderson Silva or GSP just decided artbitrarilly that they didn’t want to fight a particular person on a UFC card? What would Dana do? Once you’re champion, you have obligations. You can’t pick your fights any longer. You are OBLIGATED to defend your title or risk losing it. That’s part of being a champion.
This was a large enough violation that the promotion stripped him of the title. Did you hear me? The belt that I won as not a interim title. It was THE official LW Belt. I didn’t strip him. The promotion did. I had no part in that. All I can do is train and get ready to fight whoever it is that is across from me on that given night.
Some may think that my opponent that night was subpar or lacking in experience or whatever. Some may or may not know, the original opponent was supposed to be Juan Zapata. Juan had a month and a half to get ready to contend for the vacant belt. Early morning the night before wieghins, he broke his hand. From what I hear, the injury was BS. Jay scrambled to salvage his main event. After studying my new opponent, he appeared to be game and posed some serious questions that I had to answer. To be honest all of the videos that I watched of him, he absolutely smashed his opponents. Before the fight he was game, tough and strong then after I beat him all of a sudden he’s no good according to some people. I just laugh at some people.
To answer your question Mr. Turf (LOL). When Trey gave up his title, he lost the right to complain about it. At the moment he DECIDED that he no longer was going to participate, he lost the right to consider himself that champion. To me, he was saying, “The belt isn’t worth me fighting over”.
Subconsciously, I don’t consider him the champ. Consciously I consider myself to be the standard bearer for the LW Division of Psychout MMA. That is my opinion and I believe some others out there may feel the same way.
You can’t be champ only when you feel like it, you have to be champ ALL the time.
That is just my $.02 worth, and that’s probably all it’s worth.

This is just smack talk like two people playing a basketball game. It’s honestly been fun but I really don’t care who the champ is. I just want to fight decent opponents(like Hollywood, Juan Zapata, and Habib Barmada). Hollywood just so happens to have the belt. Why not go after it? Our reputation at Gracie South precedes us anyway. The only real downside to me losing the belt is losing the what comes with the belt like sponsors, fans, and showing other promotions what you are worth since you’re already champ in this one. I stuck with what has gotten me this far. The people who normally corner me had prior obligations so I decided not to fight without them. I’m not clowning him because he got the belt. I’m lmao at how he got the belt. And admittingly circumstances caused it to be that way but he was happier than a fag with a bag of dicks that he beat up a guy who wasn’t seasoned. He probably did beat up a couple of guys but who were they? I bet Mike Tyson could beat up PeeWee Herman too. Tim Moore didn’t suck. He beat Juan Zapata. I beat Tim twice. He was a pro then and I was an ameteur. I was just an ameteur when I beat Daniel Watts and he smashed Hollywood and they both were pros. You do the math. I’ve always fought people that were supposedly out of my league so pleeeeeez don’t think I’m running from anybody. On my first fight I fought Tim and he had 16 fights. I think I beat him in about 40 seconds or maybe a little longer. My third fight I think he said he had 27 fights. The recorded time of the smashing was 1:43. My toughest opponent was Daniel Watts. We’ve seen on several occasions just recently the damage he can do. Not to mention that he is strong as hell. I can speak for my second opponent because I haven’t seen him around. The moral of the story is I have always picked the best that psychout had to offer at that time. Even the people I named earlier are the best that psychout has at 155. If it makes him feel better when the fight is over I will place the belt over his unconcious body or give it to John Dixon after the fight. I’ve told you all earlier that the belt is just the fruit of great training or in other words a reward for doing what you are already supposed to do. I don’t need the belt the be recognized as the best fighter in Ms. I just need to beat the best. And even then I still can’t please everybody. So to everyone who comes to support me, cheer for me, bet on me, or whatever I thank you.

Not to take anything away from Daniel “5000″ Watts, he beat me fair and square. He taught me a lesson that a 10 day training camp is not enough to beat a quality fighter. He taught me the lesson that I cannot expect to win if I go from doing absolutely nothing to fighting a Professional fighter in 10 days. After seeing the whole fight, I finally remembered what happened. The footage of me taking a nice shot in the pills is conspicuously missing. I lost, but I was far from being smashed dude. No harm, I’ve learned and moved on. Trey, I won’t be relying on a 10 day camp to prepare for you homie.
