There isn’t a lot of live action material on Scott. I think this may be from design. No sense in helping your opponent scout you. I may look into adopting this policy with my own fights.
Scott came down and trained @ the Dungeon with us for a bit to get ready for his next fight which in this Friday at XFC 7. He’s a phenomenal wrestler with crazy “retard” strength. He and I fought on the same card before. He picked up a 300+ lbs. dude and carried him around the cage with him before he finally dumped him on his head. It was as if the dude was a 12 year old.
I said all that to say this, this is going to be a great fight. Wes has been training across town at Remix MMA (w/ Alan Belcher and associates) so I know Wes will be bringing his “A” game.
Both Wes and Scott are friends of mine. For this match, personally I view it as a athletic competition as opposed to a fist fight. May the best fighter win and prayerfully the loser comes away without any serious injuries. I know both guys will bring it. Get excited about this next event. Jay’s doing a great job of putting a good fight card together.

Michael, Jay is still looking for Chris a fight. “Hollywood” whats up bro? I have to agree with you the Heavyweight title fight between Shivers-Barrett is gonna be a fight of athleticism for sure. Both fighters will be on their A-game. I believe Wes will try to keep it standing definately using his reach, and Scott will want to take it the ground and keep the distance close. No doubt both of these guys are crazy strong. Then the Welterweight title fight Godbold-Leo this will be one that I’m interested in for sure. Godbold has really good stand up and and a hard right. Leo has a good chin (I hit him solid) and you can bet Godbold will try. Leo has good wrestling skills, not to mention his stand up caught me by suprise (I caught a couple knees). I look for Godbold to try to keep it standing and Leo to try to take it to the ground. Guess we will see. Look for these two title fights to be great. The undercard, no doubt will be stacked as usual. As promoter and Co-owner of Psychout, the top MMA show in MS, I will say that Jay Duvall is the best in the business when it comes to matchmaking. I think that any fighter or fan reading this will agree. Oh, Michael we are for sure looking for Brad “Mongo” Tidwell a fight on May 30. Any super heavys step up! Fighters it’s almost time good luck to each one of you, and may none of you get hurt…… Although a little blood isn’t so bad. See you March 7th at the Jackson Convention Complex. No not on this card. Maybe on the May 30th card as Brian mentioned above. Brad “MONGO” Tidwell is scheduled to be on the April 4th card w/ FFI @ the Biloxi Coast Coliseum. Not sure if its the Main event as of yet. I will let you know for sure. Still in negotiations…………
