The first event of 2010 will be held on February 27. Headlining the first event of 2010 will be champion Trey “Smash” Brown vs. John “Hollywood” Harris. The two guys are going to “Bring it On”. Hollywood Harris showed his explosiveness with his quick dispatch of Babalu at the last Psychout event. Harris knows that he will have a fight on his hands with Smash Brown. Look for these two guys to be in each other’s face the entire fight. It should be a war and with these two guys, surrender is not an option. Also on the February 27th card will be Brian Albin vs. Justin Thornton. These guys are going to compete at 215lbs and should be one that the fans will not forget. Albin will be out for Team Hammer Hill revenge against Thornton. Thornton defeated Albin’s training partner, Chris Wright, at the last Psychout event. The other pro event of the night will pit Corey “Train” Holder against Ryan Capari. This will be Holder’s first lightweight fight in a few years and Capari has been training hard at Alan Belchers’s gym, Remix.

Just wanted to throw this out there… Psychout Promotions is doing a great job with your shows. I just wish we could get together on matching some of our guys up on your shows. Tupelo BJJ is looking for fighters for March 13th in Tupelo. Psychout Promotions and Tupelo BJJ would benefit much more if they would start trading out some fighters on shows. Jay give Mark Romano a call 662-488-5234. My # is 66-552-0690. I wanna get down there and fight on a card in the future. I have alot of friends from down South. Hit us up man and see if we can get together on somethin. Thanks guys.
YES IT IS GONNA BE A GREAT CARD I WILL POST THE FULL CARD THIS WEEK. KILGORE I WILL CALL MARK TODAT ARE INTRESTED IN FIGHTING ON THIS ONE?
I’d love to man but I been havin trouble wit my stomach and found out today I have gall stones. I’m gonna have to find a way around surgery but I’m definitely won’t be ready for this one. After this one maybe we can get on the same page and be ready for your upcoming fights. We have a bunch of great fighters from 145s to heavy weights. I’m at 170 and feel great. Once I’m back healthy I’ll feel comfortable gettin in the cage with anybody. Go ahead and find me a pro 170 for your next show if you’d like. You have our #s now so just keep us updated. Thanks Jay.

I am coming to take that 170 belt and bring it to Meridian.
Trey’s corner is gonna be else where so he declined fight over a month ago
Well if there’s gonna be talk about the 170 belt, I’d like to throw my name out there. I really think Kelly and I would match up well together. I’m not tryin to start any trash talkin I’m just stating what I believe. Think about it.
i hate to break it to you but that belts mine.
Now that right there is some funny stuff. Hate to be rude or talk about something that isn’t mine but… whose belt is yours? Training hard and a little determination might would help you to acheive that goal. But I doubt that either is gonna take place. Fighters with belts or those who are actually fighting their way towards belts think more of fighting than just as a show. These fighters don’t try to look cute inside or outside the cage. Maybe if you would train harder on technique rather than on how to look cute people could take you seriously when you say that somebody else’s belt is yours. That’s just the way I see it…
Babalu v. Kilgore is a fight that I would pay to see!!!
btw, what happened to the rest of the posts that were on here?
Well Kelly, it was suppose to happen last July on his request. Then he said he was dropping to 155 to fight so that went out the window. We’ve already done this twice back when I was training myself, before I started training at Tupelo BJJ. I’m gonna say he’s best off not tryin it again.
Not for any other reason other than I think it would be a great fight, is you and me. I would really like an opportunity to fight you… I think us being South Paws with good stand up, both have really good Ground n Pound, both strong, and both can go deep into a fight. I think what has set you apart from the guys I’ve seen you fight is that you’re just MEAN. Ours might not happen this time but I believe it will pretty soon. Keep doin what you’re doin. I am looking forward to fighting May 1st no matter who the opponent will be.
Ah finally kilgore speaks… haha ok, it’s whatever, we shall see. Have a great day.
i know you really did not think that was all i was going to say, so jeremy wanted you to know i respect you and i will always say in my opinion that u are the best 170 fighter in MS. But on the other hand, Kelly earned that spot. Now for my lil comment towards your response, you beat a nineteen year old punk, two years ago and gave him the beating he deserved twice. Great job, i was undeafeated at the time. But i was nineteen. Its a lil different now, now we are not the ones to talk crap among each other so i will put it like this. If so happen we do meet, Like i have asked you, before my (performance at 155) HA! Bring your a-game and i shall bring mine. And we will find out if im just a joke among many who trys to be cute, or if maybe, you spoke to soon.
hey Jay! Yea! let’s get this done for Psychout’s next event Babalu vs. Kilgore sounds good to us.
Give me a buzz bro!
Thanks Jay!
Michael
Babalu vs Kilgore will not happen May 1st. Kilgore will fight. I have told Jay to make sure all fighters weigh in on their contracted weight. I can not have a “professional” fighter show up on weigh-ins 8lbs overweight. Cutting weight IS a part of your training. We pay you as a professional, show up as a professional.
I really didn’t care if you talked anymore or not. I think you’re a young guy with a lot of talent but I base my opinion on what I see and results. I’ve seen your fights and how you act when you win and lose. When you win you treat the other opponent like he’s nothing, walkin around with your hands on your hips or out to the side. When a an loses a fight, he should stand next to the man that just beat him with his hand down and the winner’s raised (not storm out of the ring). Kelly has done very well and he nor Psychout owes me a thing. That’s why I only said I think we would make a great fight and I would like the opportunity to fight Kelly. I didn’t ask him to fight me or Psychout to match him and me up. My A-game will be there.
